Due to location issues, New England School of the Sword will be closing its doors in February 2012. All classes have been suspended until further notice. Open practices are still available on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday nights.
The New England School of the Sword is the first Western Martial Arts studio of its kind in Rhode Island. We offer classes and extended courses teaching Renaissance Rapier fighting, Medieval Long Sword fighting and the Victorian self defense style of Bartitsu.

The New England School of the Sword is an insured affiliate of the Historical European Martial Arts Alliance(HEMA), the Society of Creative Anachronisms (SCA)and the Living History Association(LHA).
